A little about Us

Masakeen Charitable Society

Masakeen Charitable Society Soura is registered with R.O.C under No. 6754-5 of 2015. It is a voluntary group that came into being almost 15 years back by the grace of Almighty Allah and has since then been carrying out philanthropic activities on the donations made by the general public.

As the establishment expenses incurred to run the trust are borne by its executive members (comprising doctors, engineers, IT professionals, financial executives, entrepreneurs, businessmen, etc.) out of their own pockets, every single penny of the donation received is spent on the needy and deserving in a very transparent manner. We seek generous donations from all of you to help the needy.

"Over 20 Years of Accomplishments"

Our duties and Sadaqah

After our duties towards Allah, we have certain duties towards His whole creation in general and fellow beings in particular as ordained by the Holy Quran. One of the means of fulfilling the duties towards fellow beings is by way of Zakat, one of the five pillars of Islam. Quran says: "Believe in Allah and His Messenger Mohammad (SAW), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees..." We are supposed to spend our wealth as per His instructions. Allah says, "Verily, those who give Sadaqat (Zakat & Alms), men and women, and lend to Allah goodly loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and theirs shall be an honourable good reward (i.e. Paradise)."

Our Guiding Principle

“And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you, and he says, 'My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous.'”

— Qur’an (63:10)

Prophet Mohammad (SAW), as quoted by Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA), described the poor as those who, despite being unable to meet basic needs for their sustenance, do not go to anybody for help because of their self-respect and bashfulness—and not those who go door to door asking for alms. We strive to reach and support such deserving families with dignity and secrecy.

Mission & Vision

Mission: MCS’s endeavor is to prioritize the most deserving in receiving help, while ensuring utmost care to maintain secrecy to protect their self-dignity. The most preferred option for MCS is the rehabilitation of the needy—aiming to enable them to become economically independent.

Vision: Since the number of needy is growing at an alarming pace—particularly those who are homeless and those fighting fatal diseases—we wish to see ourselves fit to help them immediately and adequately, so as to save them from having to go to other such organisations, which is quite embarrassing for them.

Your money is paid to the deserving

At MCS, we make sure that the money you contribute reaches people who are most deserving of help. We make every possible effort to verify the cases personally and then register them in our list.

Stand Out Factor

What makes MCS different:

  • All establishment expenses of the organisation are borne by its working body members from their own pockets.
  • Every single penny of donations received is spent directly on the needy and deserving in a transparent manner.
  • Funds are transferred directly into the beneficiaries’ accounts to avoid risks associated with cash dealings.

Performance & Team

The working statistics since the digitisation of records of MCS bear testimony to our claim of spending 100% of your donations on the needy. Our work is led by the same voluntary working body whose members bear all establishment costs. For committee or membership enquiries, please contact us.
